Photoshop In Linux !


Its possible to work with photoshop under Linux . First install wine package . Its available in www.winehq.org . Then configure wine and select a directory as virtual C:// drive , then install the photoshop from any source by the help of wine
Applications>Accessories>Wine file
Then go to the directory and install the photoshop.
Now open wine file browser
Applications>Accessories>Wine file
From wine file browser select c:/ then go to
c:/Program Files/Adob/
Photoshop/Photoshop.exe

    Yes, the Wine team has been busy improving
    support for Photoshop. As of Wine-0.9.53,
    Photoshop up to CS works pretty well.
    And as of Wine-0.9.54, CS2 will work, too,
    if you install the times32 font from corefonts first.

    Sorry, CS3 doesn’t work yet (installer trouble).

    Thank you for sharing… Photoshop is one of those applications that Desktop linux users are constantly clamoring for, and we’re happy to say they work pretty well now…..
